Watch Boat Captain Pull Rusty Hook From Mouth of 7-Foot-Long Shark

Watch Boat Captain Pull Rusty Hook From Mouth of 7-Foot-Long Shark
It's a good thing that this fearless fisherman has worked with sharks before.

While Hollywood's aquatic horror flick Jaws make have given some people a fear of sharks, it certainly did not intimidate Elliot Grant Sudal.

Sudal, who is a boat captain in Florida, also tags sharks for the NOAA Apex predator tagging program. Thanks to the 29-year-old's work, the organization can monitor and track shark migration routes, reproduction, and growth patterns.

Sudal was working off of Sanibel Island last month when he found a 7-foot-long tiger shark with a rusty fishing hook hanging from its mouth.

The boat captain whipped out a pair of pliers and safely removed the hook from its mouth before tagging the shark and releasing it back into the ocean.
