An unidentified man was caught on camera pulling over on the side of the road amidst the wildfires in Ventura County, California all so he could rescue a frightened rabbit.

While the hero can initially be seen panicking over the critter's erratic movements, he eventually catches on to its patterns and chases it down.

He then gently scoops the rabbit up into his arms and carries it away – all with flames blazing in the background.
