In Preparation for 10-Hour Flight, Thoughtful Mom Hands Out Goodie Bags on Behalf of Her 4-Month-old
These airplane passengers were surprised when a young mother went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure they weren't bothered by her newborn child.

A mother's "touching gesture" has been shared across social media after she was pictured handing out gifts to her fellow airline passengers in anticipation of a 10-hour flight.

Dave Corona was a recipient of one of these gifts during his flight from Seoul to San Francisco earlier this month.

Corona snapped a photo of the young mom handing out 200 goodie bags containing candy, earplugs, and an explanatory note to each of her fellow passengers.

The note was written on behalf of her infant child, reading: "Hello, I'm Junwoo and I'm 4 months old.

"Today, I am going to the U.S. with my mom and grandma to see my aunt. I'm a little bit nervous and [scared] because it's my first flight, which means that I may cry or make too much noise. I will try to go quietly, though I can't make any promises… Please excuse me.

"So my mum prepared little goodie bag for you! It is some candies and earplugs. Please use them when it's too noisy because of me. Enjoy your trip. Thank you."

Even though parents are not (and probably should not be) expected to hand out gifts as an apology for normal baby behavior, Corona took several photos of the goodie bag and the mother so he could post them to social media.

"A very touching gesture by the mother, but as you know when you have kids, expect the unexpected – not a peep out of the kid," wrote Corona.
