Too Big for a Flat, Fans of Esther the Pig Help Start Animal Sanctuary
An Ontario couple adopted a piglet under the mistaken belief that there was such a thing as a "minipig". When Esther grew into the hundreds of pounds, they realized she needed to get out of their small home. And so was born the idea of a farm sanctuary, "Happily Ever Esther" in the nearby countryside, purchased with the help of 8,000 Internet crowdfunding fans.
