'Coolest Bus Driver Ever' Halts Pedestrian Accident in London
The unidentified man is being called "the coolest bus driver in London" after he casually prevented a pedestrian accident from occurring on the streets of Westminster.
When Jennifer Potter ran to save the life of a 3-year-old boy in a swimming pool, she didn't realize that she would also end up saving two more lives in the process.
Potter, who is the assistant manager at an apartment complex in Indianapolis, Indiana, was driving across the property in a golf cart when she heard the youngster calling for help from the deep end of the pool.
Potter immediately jumped into action and ran towards the pool. When she dove in to help the boy, however, she saw that there was another person in distress as well: the boy's mother was underneath of her son, holding him up and making sure that his face was above water, even though her own face was submerged.
35-year-old Potter, who is also the mother of a young boy, grabbed the child and the drowning woman and hauled them both to safety.
After Potter's colleague called 911, the mother and son were taken to a nearby medical facility. Since the two of them are expected to be okay, Potter was praised for not only saving both their lives, but also saving the life of the pregnant mother's unborn baby.
"I'd do it all over in a heartbeat, no question….I'm just glad I was here really," Potter told WTHR. "That's all I think about because it could hav been much worse…I'm glad it was a happy ending and we're all here today."
