Mosque Welcomes Stray Cats and Kittens for the Winter (LOOK)
A big-hearted iman has opened his mosque to families of stray cats seeking shelter from the cold this winter.

It's a game of cat and mosque as a Turkish house of worship welcomes some unexpected guests for the winter — whole families of stray cats.

The Iman at the historic Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi Mosque in Istanbul opened its doors to the strays — to the apparent delight of visitors and many of its members.

Worshipers are seen in pictures cuddling and playing with the mosque's "Friday guests," thanks to the welcoming decision of Imam Mustafa Efe.

There's even a video of one mother cat completing the move of an entire litter of kittens into the mosque.

After all, what cat could resist those Turkish carpets.
