Rescued Shelter Dog Becomes The Rescuer: Finds Missing Senior
A shelter dog turned her walk into a rescue mission, leading people to a missing elderly woman who'd wandered away from home and fallen into a ditch.
Well, this is bound to be a pawesome friendship.
When Scarlette Tipton's left arm was amputated from a rare form of cancer at just 10 months old, her family started searching for a perfect companion to grow up with the young amputee.
A year later, Holly the kitten was admitted to the San Jacinto Valley Animal Campus in Orange County with a horrendous arm injury, leaving her with three paws after the surgery.
It was a match made in animal heaven.
The Tipton family wasted no time visiting the recovering cat on Christmas Eve and signing the adoption papers.
Holly has been redubbed "Doc" from Scarlette's favorite TV show cartoon Doc Mcstuffins, and the family looks forward to the pair's future together.
