The government of Japan has pledged $17 million dollars to Afghanistan to provide more people with clean drinking water. Small dams will also be built for creating electricity and water canals to boost agriculture.

The government of Japan has pledged $17 million dollars to Afghanistan to provide more people with clean drinking water and electricity.

According to Afghan media reports, the money will be given to Afghanistan's Ministry of Energy and Water to spend in Kabul and elsewhere.
