This 2-Year-Old Deaf Girl Loves People - So Her Whole Neighborhood is Learning Sign Language
As a means of having a conversation with their friendly little neighbor, this entire community is learning sign language.
Tony Giles has almost always been blind and severely deaf – but that has not stopped him from doing what he loves to do: travel.
Despite his disabilities, the Englishman has been to 125 countries and all 7 continents over the course of 17 years.
According to his interview with Great Big Story, Giles is often asked why he travels if he can't see the sights – and he simply says that he likes the excitement of going new places.
Giles was born with a rare condition that caused him to see the world in the form of vague shapes and shadows. By the age of 9, he had gone totally blind.
Not only that, but he only had about 80% hearing in both of his ears.
When he was 16 years old, however, he was invited to go to the United States from his home in Teignmouth, England. Fascinated by the adventure, Giles knew that he wanted to become a world traveler.
And he has been wandering the world solo ever since.
