An Instagram Photo Journal Helped Me Survive Cancer

An 18 year-old athlete from Las Vegas was a normal teen until last May when he was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer. He decided that he wasn't going to let cancer be in control and wanted to show others that they could take control of the cards they were dealt, too. His Instagram photo journal showed people the un-glamorous reality, which oddly gave him and others hope.
