Police Celebrate National Lemonade Day: "We Won't Shut You Down Ever"
If you want to set up a drink stand in your yard, you won't need to worry when these cops pull up. The police chief announced they will never shut you down.
When leaders in Washington state asked for volunteers to help fight wildfires, they weren't expecting this.
After the call went out on Friday, more than 3,000 people signed up—in the first day.

"We appreciate your enthusiasm to serve, (and) have been overwhelmed by the strong response," the Department of Natural Resources posted on its website.
At least 200 of the volunteers are equipment operators, many with their own backhoes and bulldozers able to cut fire lines.

The call for volunteers is still out, but only people with wildfire training and proper physical conditioning should sign up.
