Instead of a Second Protest, Black Lives Matter Joins Police For a Barbecue
Plans for another Black Lives Matter rally were changed to a community cookout after leaders met with the police chief and liked his idea of building bridges.
After serving meals to the needy in Kansas City for more than three decades, Episcopal Community Services recently switched to the restaurant model of waiting on their homeless clients.
And the regulars were thrilled.
