Stranger Takes Beautiful Photo of Wedding Proposal and Internet Helps Locate Couple
It was a picture perfect engagement photo almost lost forever, until a frantic Internet search paid off.

It was a picture-perfect proposal that might have remained only a memory–had not a random lady snapped a photo that captured all the romance of a young Scottish couple in the middle of a snowy, Icelandic street.

She offered to send it to them, but Michael John Kent was so nervous after popping the question to his girlfriend, Fiona, he was left trembling. That's probably why he typed in the wrong email address on the phone, making the first mistake in a long married life.

When he realized his mistake hours later, he was not ready to admit defeat–not if there was any way possible to be reunited with the snapshot portraying the most romantic moment of their lives.

So he rushed back to the scene and snapped his own picture of the empty street and began a frantic social media search.

A local newspaper, the Reykjavík Grapevine, reported on his campaign, and soon enough, they found the photographer.

The newly engaged couple were able to meet up with photographer Jessica Bowe before leaving Iceland.

And yes, they took one last picture– with their special engagement photographer on the same street.
