A Spontaneous Matchmaker Nurse Has Incredible Track Record For Helping Folks Find Love
While dating apps may be taking away the magic of meeting a soul mate, this nurse has an amazing knack for matchmaking the ol' fashioned way.

Heather Polan Berken doesn't just help to heal patients in the emergency room – she also has an extraordinary knack for helping them find their soul mates, too.

Berken, who works as a nurse at the Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has been hailed as an astonishingly talented matchmaker.

Her love of pairing up single acquaintances has resulted in six marriages, five long-term couples, and six kids.

Berken credits these relationships to simple hunches that she gets whenever she meets someone who is single.

"It's kind of a sickness I have," Berken tells WITI. "When I meet people and find out they're single, the mind starts running and I'm thinking, ‘who do I know for them?'"
