Hugh Jackman just made an example out of himself after posting this health-related public service announcement to his fans.

An example of what happens when you don't wear sunscreen. Basal Cell. The mildest form of cancer but serious, nonetheless. PLEASE USE SUNSCREEN and get regular check-ups.

Following a bout with skin cancer, X-Men actor Hugh Jackman posted a plea to his followers on Instagram.

Doctors found basal cell carcinoma – one of the mildest and most common forms of cancer – on Jackman's nose, which prompted the Australian star to urge to wear everyone to wear sunscreen and regularly get checked out.

Wolverine is apparently well and fine now (probably thanks to that whole "super healing" thing), but fans should remember to heed his warning and think of their health before staying out in the sun.
