When conservationist and philanthropist Rob Purves decided to preserve a lost Tasmanian wilderness, he also wanted to share it. He arranged for 11 artists to camp out and capture the Australian experience.

He arranged for 11 artists to camp out at Skullbone Plains in the Australian Central Highlands over four days in February last year – and be inspired by the experience.
Thus, he created The Skullbone Experiment.
