Sesame Street, PNC Bank Team up to Teach Kids About Money
A new project featuring Grover, Elmo, Cookie Monster and the gang aims to explain concepts related to the importance of earning and saving money. "For Me, for You, for Later," explains financial fundamentals in a way that preschool children can understand. The best part, DVDs and videos are available online and for free at PNC banks.

A new project featuring Grover, Elmo, Cookie Monster and the gang aims to explain concepts related to the importance of earning and saving money.

"For Me, for You, for Later," explains financial fundamentals in a way that preschool children can understand.

It starts with having the kids use three jars to hold money for spending, saving and sharing, with the intent of teaching them the importance of making thoughtful financial decisions.

DVDs and printed materials are available free at branches of PNC Bank, which financed the program. And, you can check out their videos online at www.sesamestreet.org/save.

Dyson Award-winner Makes Water Out of Thin Air Helping Farmers

An Australian designer from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne is the winner of the 2011 James Dyson award for his Airdrop – a low-cost, low-maintenance tecnology for farming in arid areas. Dyson, an Inventor and entrepreneur, said Edward Linacre's invention shows how simple, natural principles can be applied to good effect through skilled design and robust engineering.
