A new project featuring Grover, Elmo, Cookie Monster and the gang aims to explain concepts related to the importance of earning and saving money.

"For Me, for You, for Later," explains financial fundamentals in a way that preschool children can understand.

It starts with having the kids use three jars to hold money for spending, saving and sharing, with the intent of teaching them the importance of making thoughtful financial decisions.

DVDs and printed materials are available free at branches of PNC Bank, which financed the program. And, you can check out their videos online at www.sesamestreet.org/save.
