Thanks to Snapchat, Woman Gets Lifesaving Stroke Medicine With 12 Minutes to Spare
Darnisha Ladd was in dire straits at the hospital when her sister suddenly remembered that she had taken a Snapchat video that would save her life.
Online comedian Carlos Davis and his brother were at a gas station last month when they saw a woman who was using pennies to pay for her gas.
They knew that they wanted to do something nice for her, but they had no idea how much of an impact it would have on the grieving woman.
In a video that Davis posted to his Twitter page, he can be seen opening his wallet and giving some cash to the woman.
Stunned by the kind gesture, she admits that her husband recently passed away and she has been financially struggling since his death.
When she starts to cry, Davis and his brother both hug the woman and reassure her with words of comfort.
"It's only right we gotta stick together," he told the woman. When she asks how she can repay them, they simply tell her to pay it forward.
