The lead singer for the rock group Kiss has raised $450,000 for the new Saskatchewan Children's Hospital, the hospital where Simmons' wife, Shannon Tweed, grew up.

Gene Simmons auctioned off a custom 1956 Ford F-100 truck, named Snakebit, which was built in Saskatoon and has the front end of a Shelby Mustang.
