We May Soon Have Batteries That Charge in Minutes Thanks to New Class of Materials, Study Says
Waiting for your cell phone to recharge may soon be a thing of the past thanks to this new breakthrough research.
This shoe company has unveiled a new line of shoes that saves hundreds of single-use plastic bottles from ending up in the ocean.
Instead of allowing the bottles to biodegrade over the course of 400 years, eco-friendly shoe company Vivobarefoot has developed the innovative shoe line as a means of recycling a portion of the waste and raising awareness of plastic pollution.
Each pair of shoes is made with 17 bottles that were diverted from the ocean. In addition to Business Insider describing the shoes as incredibly comfortable and healthy for your feet, the recycled materials also make the kicks more durable.
The new line includes different shoe models, from running and hiking shoes to street wear, as well as several children's sizes. Prices range from $90 to $190, and you can buy them on Amazon.
