Wrongfully Convicted Man Holds No Grudge After Spending 24 Years in Prison: "I feel wonderful"
This 42-year-old man was able to use a cell phone for the first time after he spent the last 24 years behind bars following a wrongful conviction.
There may not have been a bride at this wedding, but there certainly was a lot of love.
Jenna Yorkovich came to the unfortunate conclusion seven weeks ago that she wasn't going to be married on Friday night. So instead of using the celebration for wedding guests, Jenna donated the reception house to Ronald McDonald House.
Instead of wedding guests, 175 charity volunteers were packed inside the Nicollet Island Pavilion in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Other people honored at the reception were families that the charity has helped in the past.
"It was just making the best of the situation I was in. Looking at the positives and knowing I could help a bunch of other people and show the support to them," Jenna told WCCO.
