Blind Couple Weds After Their Guide Dogs Fall in Love (UPDATE)
A blind couple from England got married after a whirlwind romance that began after their guide dogs fell in love first.

On Throwback Thursday, we're bringing you the story of how "Man's best friend" turned to "man and wife."

WS first shared the story of Claire Johnson and Mark Gaffey — a blind couple from England who fell in love after their dogs did — back in 2012.

The pair met when their golden retrievers, Rodd and Venice, became inseparable during a two-week guide dog training course.

Play dates for the pups led to a whirlwind romance for the couple, who tied the knot with their dogs serving as ring-bearers in a wedding ceremony in March 2014.

The bride told The Mirror, "I have no doubt that our guide dogs brought us together and helped me find my true love. Much like our two guide dogs, we really are best friends and soul mates."

It's the sweetest possibly ending to a true "puppy love" story.
