Watch Florence & the Machine Perform Surprise Concert for Teen in Hospice
English indie rock band Florence And The Machine heard that a teen fan girl couldn't leave hospice to attend the show–so they brought the music to her.
It was his own personal "Avengers" sequel when an 18-year-old cancer patient was surprised at his front door by three stars from the film series.
High school junior Ryan WIlcox has been home-bound for several months while undergoing cancer treatments.
He was stunned to answer his door Monday and see "Iron Man" Robert Downey, Jr., "Captain America" Chris Evans, and Gwyneth Paltrow waiting on the front steps.
Paltrow, who plays Pepper Potts in the Iron Man films, recorded video of the surprising moment on her cell phone and sent it to his phone as a momento for the teen –and posted this photo to her Instagram feed:
Today @ryanwilcox0303 got a little surprise. Thank you to the incredible #chrisevans and my better work half @robertdowneyjr for being the men you both are. And thank you to the Wilcox family for your hospitality! #ryanstrong

The California teen was wearing his Captain America t-shirt–a totem of strength as the character has been an inspiration to him while battling cancer.
For Evans, it was his second time to personally boost the young patient's morale. He'd made a video earlier this month to encourage the boy, and it was played in front of thousands at his high school as another surprise for Ryan.
Hundreds of students had dressed in red, white, and blue outfits to honor Wilcox's favorite superhero and shouted "Ryan Strong!" as the teen entered the rally.
The three stars spent about an hour visiting with WIlcox, signing his bedroom wall and presenting him with Avengers memorabilia to encourage him in his epic battle against cancer.

"It was really cool hanging out with them. That really picked me up," Wilcox told the San Diego Union-Tribune. "I'm going to get through this."
